Stephen J. Miller, President and CEO, began his career at Allan in 1977. Mr. Miller is involved in all aspects of the design, manufacturing and installation process and has been central to Allan’s growth and success. Under his leadership Allan has revolutionized both window manufacturing and installation, constantly developing state-of-the-art technology to raise the industry standard.
Allan’s design team has continually pushed the envelope in design innovation, which has lead to major market expansion. Initially, demand for a window system employing the Rain Screen Principle opened the Vancouver market to Allan Window Technologies. In 1995 a Western Canada office was established under the leadership of industry veteran Lester Lee Fook. Allan brought its state of the art window walls, insulated metal panels and glass cladding technology, dual sealed insulated glass and custom sliding doors to the West Coast area. Working with Vancouver’s most ambitious builders, Allan has supplied and installed windows in the region’s most revolutionary buildings. Through quality and consistent service excellence, Allan is now the largest supplier of aluminum windows to the high-rise market in the region.
Since 2002 Allan has witnessed unprecedented growth in both the product line and market expansion. To accommodate the architectural demands of today’s exploding condominium market, Allan’s design team developed their High-span window system. This High-span window system has surpassed all of the structural demands of the taller and larger buildings being erected in this new age of construction. Through value engineering and up-front consultation, Brian Cohen, Regional President for Eastern Canada has successfully met the needs of this diverse and cutting edge market.
Allan’s High-span window system is now meeting the requirements of one of the world’s most competitive high-rise markets, that of New York City. This Eastern seaboard market has sent our design team back to the drawing board which, in turn, is custom designing specific products to meet their requirements. By continually adapting its product line, while offering excellence in every stage of the manufacturing and installation process, Allan has made major inroads into this new market.
Headquartered in California in 2006, Bill Lusher brings Allan’s commitment of quality and design flexibility to the Western United States. To accommodate the building innovation of the Arizona, Nevada and California region Allan’s design team anticipates continually expanding its product line, keeping one step ahead of market demand.
